Type 12 excavator（side swing）
Mini excavators are totally different from other construction equipment that all the movements and functions of the machine are accomplished by the driven of hydraulic fluid. The workgroup and blade of the compact excavator are driven by hydraulic oil acting on hydraulic cylinders. The swing (rotation) and travel functions of the excavator are also activated by hydraulic motors powered by hydraulic fluid.
The workgroup of a compact hydraulic excavator consists of a boom, bucket or arm and attachments such as augers, buckets or breakers. It is attached to the front of the excavator housing structure via a swing frame that allows the workgroup to hydraulically pivot left or right for offset excavation and trenching parallel to the track.
